Description

A near-fine copy bound in white cloth and near-fine pictorial dustwrapper; both have slightly bumped spine ends, else fine. This lovely volume tells the story of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Arts, the most popular museum in Denmark. The museum has an extensive permanent collection of modern & contemporary art, dating from WWII to the present day. The museum is also acknowledged as a milestone in modern Danish architecture, and is noted for its synthesis of art, architecture, and landscape. Photographs by Jens Frederiksen. [Description after John Doyle.]
