Our Commemorative Paver program is back!

FRIENDS OF THE CHATHAM COMMUNITY LIBRARY is an association of all volunteer members who share an interest in supporting the library and many vital contributions it makes to our community. We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit group. Through our membership dues, book sales and donations, the Friends:

  • CONTRIBUTE supplemental funding for the library projects, equipment and programs that are not budgeted by County funds.
  • ENCOURAGE the support of the library by community members, local businesses and government.
  • PROMOTE community awareness and encourage the full use of the library, its services and its resources.
  • SUPPORT the development, growth and improvement of the library resources, services and facilities.

Your membership dues help fund:

  • excellent reading programs for all ages-children, teens and adults,
  • presentations, lectures, films and educational events for all ages,
  • the purchase of some equipment and technology upgrades to meet the non-budgeted needs of the library,
  • special projects, more diverse and inclusive programs and exhibits,
  • scholarships.
Membership benefits include
  • discounts at the periodic Friends' book sale events,
  • tax-deductible membership dues,
  • opportunities to volunteer in support of Friends' events, and
  • becoming an advocate for the Library.

We hope you'll JOIN the Friends of the Chatham Community Library!!
