COMING BOOK SALES in 2021

The Library is not currently accepting Book Sale donations.

The Friends of the Chatham Community Library's Aug. 7th sale of AV materials and children's books at the Chatham Community Library has been postponed due to the rapid increase of COVID-19 delta variant cases. We will provide another update once we have a new date for the sale.

The Friends of the Chatham Community Library will hold a special one-day sale of audio-visual materials and children's books on Saturday, August 7, at the library in the Holmes Family Room. Hours for the sale are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The book sales of the Friends of the Chatham Community Library are among many popular community events, but had to be postponed during the past year and a half.

The sale on August 7 will offer a wide selection of audio-visual (A-V) materials and children's books. The A-V materials include music CDs, records, movies on DVD, audio books and educational CDs and DVDs.

This special sale will allow shoppers the opportunity to select purchases in a less crowded setting and will free up valuable display space for a larger general book sale by the Friends, which is scheduled for September 23, 24 and 25.

Cash, checks and credit cards all will be accepted at both the August and September sales.

Members of the Friends of the Chatham Community Library will receive a 10 per cent discount on purchases of $5 or more, and customers may join the Friends or renew their memberships at the sale.

Note: For the safety of its customers and volunteers, the Friends will follow recommendations of the state and local governments regarding social distancing and the use of face masks in effect at the time of the sales.
